It is an 18-hole course in the grounds of an ancient fortress and is considered one of Italy's more challenging courses due to the abundance of water and the 9th hole, which is a blind par-three. Fioranello Golf Club is immersed in the Roman countryside not far from the famous capital and on the outskirts of the archeological site at Appia Antica, offering golfers the unique opportunity to enjoy the greens surrounded by the history of the Roman Empire. The club was founded in 1979 and the course is 18 holes with a par of 70. There is also a driving range, three putting greens and a pitching green.
